Primary Role:
- Plan design activities, estimate effort, and support project lead in R&D cost estimation.
- Manage design release in Team Center according to customer processes.
- Interact with suppliers for design reviews, evaluate scorecards for supplier selection, and handle deviation discussions.
- Provide support during various stages of part development.
- Finalize parts approval and DVP (Design Validation Plan).
- Coordinate with overseas design teams for approvals and reviews.
Qualification / Experience Requirements:
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- 610 years of experience in the Engine Design CAD domain.
- Proficiency in CAD software (CREO), Team Center, BoM systems, and Office tools.
- Strong technical understanding of engine components and sub-systems.
- Knowledge of cost and value engineering, problem-solving techniques, production technologies, and materials.
- Excellent technical communication skills and fluency in English.
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with engine peripheral functions: cooling, fuel, intake, exhaust systems.
- Experience with DFMEA, drawing checklists, and virtual validation methodologies.
- Ability to plan and manage tasks with timely delivery.
- Flexibility to reprioritize tasks based on project needs.
