Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Design:

Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments, develop detailed engineering plans and specifications, and optimize system design for maximum energy production.

2. Project Execution & Management:

Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, oversee on-site construction, and ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.

3. Coordination & Collaboration:

Liaise with clients, stakeholders, equipment vendors, and cross-functional teams, including procurement, civil, and electrical engineers.

4. Technical Oversight:

Supervise installation and commissioning, verify quality of equipment and workmanship, conduct system performance analysis, and troubleshoot technical issues.

5. Compliance & Permitting:

Ensure projects adhere to local and international safety and regulatory standards, and coordinate with authorities for necessary permits.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain project records, prepare progress reports for management and clients, and compile closeout documentation.

7. Risk Management:

Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirement/ Skills:

  • Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., MS Office, AutoCAD, PVSyst).
  • Strong understanding of solar energy systems, PV technology, and relevant codes.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling and construction means and methods.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's diploma/ degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy disciplines.
  • Proven experience (often 3-5+ years) in solar or renewable energy project management.
