Execution of large value single project (200Cr)+, ensuring profitability, positive cash flows and customer satisfaction of project including execution excellence covering Design, Engineering, Construction and contract Commercial.

  • Project Engineering & Procurement guidance & Drive: Ensure quality & quantity of engineering deliverables and brisk procurement actions to adhere to Master construction plan, weekly review on project wise engineering & procurement progress and strive on time delivery and Quality in design drawings & submittals and on time material supply at site.
  • Project Staffing & Work execution Technical & Quality Guidance: Ensure right staffing, identify execution team Project Managers & team. Guide the project managers on execution planning of technically complex work including equipment rooms, customer sensitivity areas etc. and also drive improvement in installation quality, work productivity, site facility quality etc for all the jobs in the region.
  • Contract Management: Review all contract risks once a month- BSL claims/ Customer claims/ Contract value/ Payment delays/ EOT/ Warranty etc. and take responsibility for escalating the problems internally or externally, writing necessary letters to the customer and updating all necessary records. Take decisions for speeding up/ slowing down site work based on the risk status of each job.
  • Project VA Improvement & TOPEX Reduction: Billing VA improvement by managing Escalation claim, Contingency Write back, PDD collection are as per the target. Ensure Sales/Engineering/procurement coordination resulting in on time deliverables and also ensuring PMC & labour cost within sales estimate
  • Project Financial Controls: Improve average Capital Employed as per defined plan by reducing the old dues as per recovery plan and minimize REB (Revenue in excess of billing) through timely invoicing., Project closure and CVR accuracy based plan. Monthly Collection as per defined plan. Ensure implementation of all operational financial controls, adherence to policy guidelines at all levels and transparency in reporting. Ensure positive Cash flow, capital control, debt control, bottom-line, cost control.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Stay in touch with senior level customer representatives once in a month to ascertain their satisfaction level and specific complaints. Help the Project team in resolving gaps in material supply, workmen availability and site facilities so as to improve customer satisfaction.   • a testimonial.
  • Implementation of 3C(Comprehensive Contracting Capability Programs) processes: Drive the implementation of standards, procedures and processes created under 3C Engineering Excellence as well as 3C Construction Excellence and also drive Project Management culture.
  • Mentoring: Mentoring Project managers/services managers/professionals by identifying their training needs, inducting them in their functional roles and also develop and groom potential Project/Deputy Managers.
  • Image Building: Building Blue Star image through demonstration of Superior Project Delivery & developing healthy customer relations resulting in repeat orders with premium
