A Civil Project Coordinator supports construction projects by managing schedules, budgets, resources, and communication between engineers, clients, and contractors, ensuring tasks align with project goals, quality standards, and safety regulations from start to finish, handling documentation, progress tracking, and problem-solving to keep everything on track. They are the logistical link, ensuring smooth daily operations and timely delivery of project components, often preparing reports and managing vendor/material flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution: Assist in developing plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and manage daily tasks.
Coordination & Communication: Act as a liaison between all parties (clients, architects, subs, suppliers); schedule meetings; provide updates.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project records (contracts, permits, drawings); prepare status reports for managers and stakeholders.
Resource & Budget Management: Help allocate resources, order materials, track costs, and manage vendor relations.
Quality & Safety: Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards through site monitoring.
Problem Solving: Identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate blockers to keep projects moving.
