Project Assistant - Technology

We are looking for a committed and dynamic Ed-tech professional to join our team. This role involves deploying and supporting technology in teacher education, school systems, and community learning programs; conducting training and capacity-building; managing digital content workflows; and supporting the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) across projects.

As a technology person you will work closely with public institutions, school teachers, teacher educators, and community members to promote meaningful integration of technology in education.

Job Profile:

• Design & conduct technology training (online & offline) for teachers on FOSS (Free & Open Source Software) tools
• Support ICT integration in schools/colleges across Karnataka
• Create digital resources & user guides for educators
• Address & support the organization&aposs tech requirements and initiatives

Eligibility:

• Enthusiasm for supporting educational technology initiatives
• B.Sc., BCA, BE, B.Tech, or a related degree
• 0-1 years of experience, preferably in tech training
• Fluency in English and Kannada (reading/writing); Hindi is a plus
• Strong interest in FOSS tools and technology for education
• Basic knowledge of Linux/open-source tools

Note:

• The place of work will be Bengaluru, with occasional travel across Karnataka and India as per project requirements
• Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and would not be a constraint for the right candidate.
