Role Description The Project Architect will lead and coordinate healthcare architecture projects from concept through completion, ensuring design quality, functionality, and regulatory compliance. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and overseeing Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows with the project team. The Project Architect will review and manage submittals, collaborate with consultants and contractors, and support project management activities such as scheduling, resource planning, and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding design development, monitoring construction progress against design intent, participating in client meetings, and ensuring alignment with sustainability and LEED-related goals. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver coordinated, cost-effective, and timely project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture, with proven experience in healthcare or complex institutional projects.
- Ability to manage and review Submittals, including drawings, materials, and technical documents, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, coordination, budgeting, and stakeholder communication across multiple project phases.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows to develop, coordinate, and maintain accurate project models.
- Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design strategies, preferably with exposure to green building certifications.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional registration or licensure is an asset.
- Strong design, technical detailing, and documentation skills, with attention to accuracy and constructability.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office) and familiarity with local building codes and standards.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
