How will you make an impact in this role
Function Description:This position is within ICS (International Card Services) in India & will report to the Manager - Business Regulatory Projects. The incumbent would be functionally responsible for project managing critical regulatory projects, which would span across business units of AEBC.
Business Regulatory Projects Team implements changes as per regulatory requirements in the market by leading the projects to successfully achieve their objectives. This role is critical for supporting business in managing risk, ensuring strong controls over day-to-day activities, issue management and timely delivery on regulatory mandates.
Purpose of the Role:
The primary focus of this role is to manage successful delivery of one or more regulatory projects with moderate level of complexity in collaboration with multiple stakeholders - within and outside of AEBC. Such projects would be spread across technical implementations, process uplifts, new process introductions, policy uplifts and new process introductions.
This role would require knowledge of Regulatory landscape in India, primarily focussing on KYC, Master Directions and Customer Onboarding Journey. Knowledge on AML / PMLA Area of Law. Have a strong execution focus, influencing skills, strong personal accountability of delivery of complex change management initiatives, extensive knowledge of American Express products, processes, and platforms, strong project management discipline and exceptional communication skills.
