About A&M Global Capability Center (GCC) – India
Established in 2023, A&M's Global Capability Center in India supports leadership across multiple business units and geographies to enable efficient and innovative service delivery to clients. The GCC helps A&M's global business units expand their talent pool in India by hiring specialized professionals, maintaining competitive pricing, accelerating delivery through a hybrid onshore-offshore model, and leveraging automation with advanced digital and analytics talent.
Unlike traditional GCC models focused on back-office support, the center partners with case teams for end-to-end delivery and thought leadership. The Team
As a
Client Onboarding Specialist, you will support the project lifecycle from client onboarding to project setup. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, build effective working relationships, and influence senior stakeholders. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who can manage their workload independently while contributing as an integral team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The role is part of the fast-growing Tax team and is suited for individuals who are entrepreneurial, driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to take a hands-on approach to achieving results.
How You Will Contribute
- Manage and maintain shared inboxes, processing requests in FIFO (first in, first out) order.
- Proactively manage requests from submission through completion.
- Communicate request status to engagement teams.
- Maintain tracker hygiene and update request records promptly.
- Respond to inquiries from client engagement teams regarding processes.
- Coordinate with internal corporate teams including Conflicts, AR, and Quality Assurance.
- Escalate unresolved requests in a timely manner.
- Participate in bi-weekly Global Client Onboarding Team meetings.
- Manage stakeholder expectations regarding processes and timelines.
- Handle inquiries with a seek-to-understand mindset and educate stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in the professional services industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Team-oriented and results-driven mindset.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
