We are looking for aProgressive Learning and Innovation Leadto serve as the custodian of learning design and pedagogical quality across the school. This is our most critical academic leadership role and is responsible for translating educational philosophy into consistent, high-quality classroom practice.

This role ensures that WisdomWood does not merely aspire to progressive education but truly lives it through inquiry, agency, coherence, and strong teacher capability.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role works closely with the Head of School, Learning Leads, Grade Mentors, and Coordinators to shape the school's learning culture.

The Role at a Glance

You will:

  • Design and anchor inquiry-based and project-based learning across grades
  • Build interdisciplinary coherence and conceptual learning progressions
  • Strengthen student agency and learner ownership systems
  • Coach and develop teachers in progressive, constructivist pedagogy
  • Ensure alignment between pedagogy, assessment, and reporting
  • Act as a thought partner to leadership on instructional innovation and learning culture
What You Will Be Working With
  • Inquiry-based and project-based learning frameworks
  • Interdisciplinary curriculum design and conceptual planning
  • Student agency systems, including reflection, self-assessment, and voice
  • Planning Studios and collaborative teacher design cycles
  • Holistic Progress Card frameworks and assessment for learning practices
  • A school-wide pedagogy aligned to NEP 2020 and global best practices
Who We Are Looking For
  • A Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in progressive school environments
  • Demonstrated leadership in inquiry-based, project-based, or constructivist pedagogy
  • Strong experience in instructional coaching, curriculum design, and teacher development
  • Ability to coach adults with clarity, empathy, and rigour
  • Systems thinking with the ability to align pedagogy, assessment, and reporting

Experience in IB PYP, MYP, Cambridge, or similar inquiry-driven frameworks is a strong advantage.

Google Certified Educator Level 1 and Level 2 are mandatory.
