About Position
We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in Temporal workflow orchestration, API development, and cloud-native architectures on AWS. The ideal candidate will design scalable systems, build robust backend services, and integrate AI-driven capabilities.

What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Fast
- API/Flask)- Build and manage Temporal workflows and activity implementations- Develop scalable REST APIs and integration services- Implement database schemas and optimize queries for PostgreSQL/Aurora- Integrate external APIs and AI agents into backend systems- Deploy and manage services on AWS (compute, storage, orchestration)- Implement secure secrets/configuration management- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance reliability
Expertise You'll Bring
- Strong hands-on experience with Python- Experience with Fast
- API or Flask frameworks- Expertise in Temporal (workflow + activity implementation)- API development and microservices architecture- Database experience with PostgreSQL / Aurora- Experience with external API integrations and AI-based systems- AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.)- Secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager / Vault)
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)- CI/CD pipeline experience- Observability tools (logging, monitoring, tracing)
- Experience38 years in backend development with Python and cloud technologies
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
