Program Manager
Experience: 8–10 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experience in Project & Program Management in the Automotive industry.
- Knowledge of the complete product life cycle & clear understanding of APQP processes & quality Gates with applicable milestones at each phase.
- Work with engineering and Product planning teams to understand customer requirements.
- Responsible for overall scope, time & Cost Management, and Program Readiness coordination from a project perspective.
- Guide and manage systems and components life cycle by planning the design, release, part development, build & validation plans in association with CFTs to meet the agreed scope with QCD and timelines for the product.
- Ensure that the program communication plan is effectively implemented and all the action points arising out of all program reviews are captured and systematically tracked for closure.
- Ensure religious internal reviews as per SMPD (Process) adherence and provide advance warning for ensuring the quality of events for every deliverable - Monitor resource utilization and ensure optimization of resources in the program.
- Assess overall project risk on a day-to-day basis and provide decisions/inputs to management to provide directions to mitigate the risk.
- Able to demonstrate Cross-functional team Leadership skills through effective conflict management & solving day-to-day operational issues among CFT.
- In-depth knowledge on Automotive manufacturing (Sheet metal, plastics, electrical & electronics) & quality processes would be an added advantage.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills & ability to deliver management presentations are a must.
Additional Requirements:
- Planning and tracking the project activities
- Identify risks, measure, and control the project
- Cross-functional support/coordination, resolving conflicts, and getting the project in the right direction
- Timely report to management on the CTQ of project/program, get direction and streamline project
- Perform/Participate in Technical Review of the project deliverables
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics
- Experience: 8 to 10 years in Automotive Product development - preferably development of Battery System, Electric vehicle platforms, plastic & Sheetmetal tooling etc.
- PMP certification preferred
