Agency Operations Program Manager

Location: Bangalore / Kuala Lumpur

Years of Experience: 12 to 15 years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Agency Operations Program Manager with a strong background in managing large programs within the agency management space, specifically for a Life Insurance client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive domain knowledge in agency operations and demonstrate exceptional skills in senior stakeholder management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex environments and drive operational excellence across multiple countries in the APAC region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale agency operations programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement program strategies, plans, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate program status, risks, and opportunities, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive program success and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular program reviews and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in agency operations and life insurance to inform program strategies.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven experience in program management, specifically within the agency management space for life insurance clients.
  • Strong domain knowledge in agency operations.
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-country programs in the APAC region.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Project Management expertise is a deal breaker; candidates must have a solid foundation in project management methodologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the life insurance industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in program management, with a focus on agency operations in the life insurance sector.
