Job Description

Department: Operations Program Manager PG

Location: New Delhi

Experience: 4 5 Years

Education: Graduate / Post Graduate (Finance / Banking / Management preferred)

Role Overview:

The Program Manager PG & Go-Live will be responsible for managing the customer journey post-onboarding until successful go-live and activation of services. The role requires close coordination with internal teams such as Alliances, Sales, Product, and Tech, as well as external stakeholders including partner payment gateway partners (PG).

The Program Manager will ensure smooth implementation of Pay-PG, enabling customers to go live efficiently while maintaining strong banking relationships and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Go-Live Program Management

  • Post onboarding, go live responsibility with TAT commitment.
  • Own and drive the customer journey from post-onboarding to successful go live.
  • Track implementation progress and ensure readiness across all stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely activation of PG account and services.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams such as Sales, Alliances, Product, Tech, and Operations.
  • Work with external stakeholders including PG teams, and customer technical teams.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for progress and escalations till Go live

3. Banking & Integration Coordination

  • Facilitate integration and operational readiness with bank partners and payment partners.
  • Ensure correct configuration and setup of PG workflows.
  • Coordinate UAT validation and readiness checks before activation.

4. Customer Activation & Support

  • Guide customers through integration, testing, and go-live processes.
  • Conduct go-live readiness reviews and ensure smooth first transactions.
  • Proactively resolve blockers that may delay activation.
  • Coordinate internal and external team to make them live (1st Successful txn in live environment)

5. Process Monitoring & Improvement

  • Track go-live performance metrics and identify delays or process gaps.
  • Work with internal teams to improve onboarding-to-go-live efficiency.
  • Maintain structured updates and reports for leadership.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of PG workflows and processes.
  • Experience working with banks, payment gateways, or fintech platforms.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Good project management and execution capabilities.

Preferred Background:

  • Prior experience in Fintech, Banking, Payment Gateway, or Digital Payments industry.
  • Experience working with bank integration teams or alliances teams.
  • Exposure to payment settlement flows, escrow mechanisms, and payout systems.

  • Time from Onboarding to Go-Live
  • % of customers activated within a defined timeline
  • First transaction success rate
  • Stakeholder coordination efficiency
  • Reduction in go-live delays due to operational gaps
