The Role: Program Manager
We are seeking an exceptional
Program Manager with 4 - 5 years of experience and a foundational background in management consulting. This role, based in our Bangalore office, is critical for leading strategic client engagements, overseeing the delivery of large-scale analytics programs, and ensuring successful project outcomes within the industrial sector. You will serve as the bridge between client strategy and product execution, driving complex, high-value initiatives.
Key Responsibilities And Deliverables
Program Leadership & Strategy:
- Leading and successfully executing high-priority client programs, drawing on a minimum of 1 year of dedicated project management experience.
- Structuring, defining, and overseeing large-scale analytics projectsfrom initial data gathering to final strategic presentation.
- Applying strategic thinking gained from a management consulting background to define project objectives and client roadmaps.
Client And Stakeholder Management
- Demonstrating Matured client management skills to foster deep, trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders in industrial firms.
- Managing cross-functional teams (Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers) to ensure on-time and high-quality program delivery.
Data And Analytical Rigor
- Utilizing an advanced level of SQL and MS Excel to perform deep-dive analysis, structure data models, and validate program findings.
- Providing quality assurance on analytical outputs and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Sector Focus
- Leveraging any prior experience in the industrial sector (Manufacturing, Steel, Cement, etc.) to enhance program relevance and impact.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4 - 5 years of professional experience, with a core background in management consulting is mandatory.
- Program Experience: Proven track record (minimum 1 year) of leading project or program management initiatives.
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in managing and executing complex analytics projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced level of SQL and MS Excel proficiency is essential for day-to-day work.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills (required for senior client interaction).
- Ideal Background: Experience gained at top consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, R/P, Strategy&, EY Parthenon) is highly desirable and qualifies for the higher compensation band.
