Program Manager

LaunchTrax is a developer of next-gen mission systems for defense and aerospace customers is the field of mission planning, terrain visualisation and decision support systems. We use a variety of technologies in 3D Geospatial, Image Processing and various MIL standards to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers. The company undertakes projects involving custom software/ hardware development and system integration.

The Project Manager role would be expected to manage two or more projects related to software/ hardware development/ system integration and take complete ownership and accountability for the project progress up to completion.

Experience: 2 years

Location: Primary location at Bangalore. Travel as per project requirements and might need to stay at project sites for longer duration

Key Expectations

- Own and run agreed projects and manage the project activities via appropriate project methodologies

- Work closely with the project team members, consultants, sub-contractors, customer stakeholders, SMEs, etc. at all levels and provide regular status updates.

- Strong communication to gain commitment among team members.

- Good written communication skills and email etiquette

- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Scrum/ Agile/ Waterfall methodologies and risk management

- Excellent interpersonal, follow up and problem solving skills.

- Engineering background and outlook is a bonus.

Job Description

Assist team members with the assigned tasks, set project timelines and monitor all project deliverables and resolve conflicts among projects and team members.

Identify and document project risks in advance and resolve bottlenecks both internally and with customers

Update daily progress and submit weekly progress reports over email through the project tracking tool like Jira/ MS Projects

Monitor project progress and perform quality checks in terms of quality, cost and scope and performance evaluation of the project

Manage sub-contractors for system integration projects

• Create delivery challans, e-way bills, invoice, service reports
