Description

As Program Manager, you will be part of Line Haul operations team. You will work closely with internal stakeholders including Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Sort Centers (SCs), Supply Chain, Finance and Last Mile (AMZL) operations team. We are looking for individuals with proven ability to drive process improvements & ability to keep pace with our explosive growth. The individual should have a can-do attitude and an ability to solve problems independently with limited guidance. Your role will involve managing operational metrics, lead continuous improvement process and cost initiatives.

Key job responsibilities

  • Program manage the cost saving, performance and quality improvement initiatives for LH Network operations. Track existing metrics, identify leading indicators impacting LH network, conduct impact assessment analysis & drive mitigation measures etc.
  • Identify new initiatives & work with cross-functional teams (analytics, operations finance etc.) to draw out detailed plan(s) & drive their implementation
  • Understand industry landscape, trends and incorporate the learnings across programs
  • Program manage network expansion initiatives to improve speed
  • Support Supply Chain, SCs/FCs/LM operation & program teams in building the Amazon network expansion strategy & execution frameworks
  • Co-own & drive programs with senior leaders

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
