Program Manager

Position:Program Manager

Experience: 8+ Years

We are looking for a Program Manager with excellent project management skills. Ideal candidate would also have: 

·      Background / experience in Agile scrum 

·      Background / experience in supporting technical projects 

·      Knowledge of software development processes and best practices. 

Duties/Responsibilities 

Sprint Planning: 

·      Facilitate and coordinate agile ceremonies for example sprints, stand ups, and sprint reviews. 

·      Monitor Sprint progress and flag challenges to scrum team as needed (e.g., overallocation, or failure of team member to update progress on assigned tasks) 

·      (Ideally) Monitor and report on Agile performance metrics such as velocity and burndown. 

Backlog Management: 

·      Review product backlogs in Taskflow and align with team members on prioritization. 

·      Conduct backlog grooming sessions and ensure tasks/stories have all information to start the work 

Project Management: 

·      Create work breakdown structures and create tasks in Buganizer. 

·      Work with team members to ensure tasks are tracked in appropriately in SmartSheet. 

·      Document process guides for the team. 

·      Work with TPgM's (Technical Program Managers) to coordinate analysis and data deep dives to inform decision making. 

·      Generate project plans and work with TPgMs to coordinate milestone check-ins, project kickoffs, and other project tasks. 

·      Work on team website and knowledge base, and help curate content with the help of TPgMs, TSCs and TSEs. 

·      Ensure team prepare documents (Comprehensive User guide/Playbooks, Developer Guides, Release documents) & Review the same. 

·      To have a great stakeholder Mgmt 

·      Create RAID logs for program. 

 Required: 

·      Scrum experience, or experience in a software development team in a program/project management role 

·      Excellent project management and communication skills 

·      PMO experience (preferably with PMP certification) 

·      Google experience preferred 

 Nice to have: 

·      Previous experience working in an Operations team 

·      Web content design/development
