About the Role
We are seeking an organized and driven Program Manager with 35 years of experience to oversee the successful delivery of multiple client-facing software projects. You will work across cross-functional teams, ensure alignment on priorities, drive execution, and ensure that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
This role demands strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management in a
fast-paced services environmentwith a forward-looking approach that embraces AI tools and automation to enhance visibility, productivity, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage multiple software engineering teams working on different projects under a unified program vision.
- Define program goals, delivery plans, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with engineering and business leads.
- Use AI-enhanced tools (e.g., Jira AI, Asana Intelligence, Notion AI, ClickUp AI) to track dependencies, auto-generate progress reports, and proactively flag risks.
- Leverage AI tools and automated workflows to streamline communication, task creation, meeting notes, and stakeholder updates.
- Monitor execution progress, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of blockers across teamsusing predictive insights from AI where available.
- Serve as the central point of contact between clients, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Facilitate planning sessions, sprint syncs, and retrospectives using collaborative platforms augmented with AI for decision-making support.
- Track key KPIs for program successon-time delivery, quality, resource utilization, and client satisfactionusing dashboard tools powered by analytics and AI.
- Drive continuous improvement and apply automation strategies to enhance process efficiency and delivery consistency.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in program or project management within a software engineering or IT services organization.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and teams simultaneously.
- Experience using AI-enabled project management platforms or workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, Microsoft Power Automate).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
Nice to Have
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
- Exposure to client-facing roles and managing remote/distributed teams.
- Familiarity with using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for reporting, documentation, and productivity.
- Understanding of technical project components (APIs, databases, deployment cycles, etc.).
- Interest in or experience leading AI-related project initiatives or digital transformations.
