Role & Responsibilities
- Lead clinical care for a diverse patient panel including antenatal, postnatal, fertility, and oncology-related gynecological cases.
- Perform major and minor gynecological surgeries—laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and open procedures—with strict adherence to safety and sterility protocols.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines and hospital standards.
- Collaborate with radiology, pathology, and oncology teams to deliver integrated diagnostics and treatment plans.
- Participate in hospital QA initiatives, audit rounds, and patient safety programs to drive measurable improvements in clinical outcomes.
- Conduct patient education sessions and community outreach programs focused on women's wellness, preventive screening, and reproductive health.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS
- DNB/MD Gynecology
- FMAS (Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery)
- Laparoscopy
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Robotic Surgery (if applicable)
- ACLS Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred
- Experience in high-volume delivery units
- Membership in FOGSI or AOGD
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals
