Specialization Areas (Mandatory Requirement)
Candidates are expected to possess demonstrated expertise through teaching, research, or industry practice in one or more of the following domains
1) Operations Management: Supply Chain Management, Service Operations, Sustainable Operations, Operations Strategy, Quality Management, and emerging areas such as Digital Supply Chains and Industry 4.0
2) Business Analytics: Data Visualization, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning Applications in Business, Big Data Analytics, and Decision Science
Qualifying Criteria :
Professor
- Ph.D. with Master's Degree in Management / Administration / relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years of teaching / industry / research / professional experience, of which at least 5 years must be at the level of Reader / Associate Professor or equivalent
OR
- Professional work experience of significant repute, recognized at national / international level as equivalent to Ph.D., with 12 years managerial experience in industry / profession, of which at least 8 years should be comparable to Reader / Associate Professor
AND
- Published work of high quality, with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. Published work may also include Books, Research Periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Projects, or Patents
Associate Professor
- Ph.D. with Master's Degree in Management / Administration / relevant discipline
- Minimum 8 years of teaching / industry / research / professional experience at managerial
level
OR
- Professional work experience of significant repute, recognized at national / international level as equivalent to Ph.D., with 10 years managerial experience in industry / profession, of which at least 5 years should be comparable to Lecturer / Assistant Professor
AND
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. Published work may also include Books, Research Periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Projects, or Patents
Assistant Professor
- Ph.D. with First Class Master's Degree in Business Management / Administration / or relevant discipline.
- At least two research papers published from Ph.D. work (minimum one in a refereed journal)
- At least two papers presented based on Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agencies
- Published work may also include Books, Research Periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Projects, or Patents
Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; however, compensation will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
