Job Summary:
The Assistant Technical Manager Electrical will support the planning, execution, and maintenance of electrical systems across projects and facilities. This role involves supervising electrical engineering activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient and reliable electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for new and existing projects.
- Monitor and manage electrical maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Support the Technical Manager in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for procurement and execution of electrical works.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain documentation of electrical layouts, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
- Train and guide junior technicians and engineers as needed.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 58 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and energy management.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and team coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Preferred Certifications:
- Licensed Electrical Engineer (as per local regulations)
