Designation:Production Support Engineer

Qualification:B.E/B.Tech in IT or Computer Science

Experience Required:1 to 2 yearsof experience in production support role in IT environment forUS clients.

Skills Sets Required:

  • Hands on knowledge on Javascript & Node JS.
  • Working knowledge in MySQL.
  • Hands on API related activities.
  • Experience with Angular would be an added advantage.

Job Description:

  • Good English - spoken and written - to communicate with North American clients.
  • Provide semi-technical support to US clients during the 5 PM2 AM IST shift.
  • Troubleshoot application issues via screens, data and logs.
  • Analyze logs, reproduce issues, and help L3 teams to identify root causes.
  • Assist in resolving backend/API Integration & failures and performance issues.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients through email, chat, and calls.
  • Update ticket status regularly and ensure closures within SLA.
  • Handling production ticket issues and resolving the same as per the TAT guidelines.
  • Escalate complex issues to the development team with proper logs and reproduction steps.
  • Coordinate with QA, product, and engineering teams for quick resolution.
  • Prepare and update documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Conduct routine system checks and monitor application health.
  • Should be a fast Learner and adapt to new technologies, tools, and domain-related concepts as required.
  • Identify repetitive issues and suggest improvements or automation opportunities.
