Production Support Analyst
Production Support Analyst in Production Management (Batch
Optimization)
As a Production Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing batch
alert data, identifying trends, and collaborating with diverse support teams. You
will be at the forefront of identifying opportunities for Autosys batch
optimization and contributing to the evolution of our analytics platform.
Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth analysis of raw data from Snowflake to identify trends,
patterns, and anomalies in batch alerts.
Identify the top 10-20 applications generating the maximum number of
alerts and pinpoint root causes.
Work closely with respective support teams and LOB support leads across
Citi to implement recommendations and reduce batch alerts.
Utilize a strong understanding of Autosys batch to analyze existing JILs and
propose modifications for optimization and improved performance.
Contribute to the identification of new use cases and provide valuable
suggestions for enhancing the existing analytics solution based on
production support knowledge and insights.
Act as a subject matter expert in Autosys batch operations and optimization
within the team.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a Production Support role, preferably within a large
enterprise environment.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Autosys batch
scheduling and operations.
Demonstrated ability to optimize Autosys batch jobs and JIL configurations.
Experience with data analysis, preferably with large datasets from
platforms like Snowflake.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify
trends and anomalies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and LOB support leads.
Proactive mindset with a track record of contributing to process
improvements and new initiatives.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-
paced environment.
