Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans at the plant so as to attain the productivity, defect free product, ontime delivery.
Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, energy and capital.
To ensure adherence to quality standards like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, 5S, Kaizen, Quality Circle, ASME etc.
Execute the production plan for what, how, where & when manufactured keeping in view the customer delivery schedule.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability and can be built with high quality at scale
Investigate root causes of process and product failures and implement corrective actions
Write and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and SOP.
Train operators and technicians on new process, equipment & product.
Support the introduction of new products into production, including process development, tooling design, fixturing, and training
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and quality circle.
