Job Title: Production/ Floor Supervisor Mechanical

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor to meet production schedules.
- Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are operated efficiently and maintained as per standards.
- Monitor and control process parameters to achieve desired output, quality, and productivity.
- Allocate manpower effectively and ensure adherence to work instructions and SOPs.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
- Track daily production output, downtime, and rejection rates; prepare and submit reports.
- Train and guide shop floor operators/technicians for skill enhancement and process discipline.
- Ensure optimum utilization of raw material, minimize wastage, and drive cost-control initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement programs such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and TPM.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, machining, assembly, and plant equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Good leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
- Strong focus on quality, productivity, and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- 2-3years of experience in production supervision
- Hands-on experience in handling shop floor operations, manpower management, and process control.
- Exposure to ISO standards and audits will be an added advantage.
