Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Production Electrical Engineer Manager with 10+ years of expertise in LT electrical control panel manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for managing complete production operations, ensuring quality, cost control, safety, ISO and on-time delivery of control panels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end production of electrical control panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD, PLC, AMF, Synchronizing panels).
- Prepare production planning as per project schedules and dispatch commitments.
- Ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, BOM, and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch departments.
- Monitor manpower productivity, workflow, and shop-floor discipline.
- Ensure quality compliance, minimize rework, rejection, and material wastage.
- Implement process improvements, lean manufacturing, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Oversee panel assembly, wiring, testing, and final inspection.
- Handle internal audits, customer inspections, and third-party inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety norms, and 5S practices.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and KPIs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers and supervisors.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on knowledge of LT electrical control panels
- Expertise in production planning & control (PPC)
- Ability to read and validate electrical schematics, GA drawings, and BOM
- Leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of testing procedures, safety standards, and quality systems
- ERP / SAP / Production tracking software knowledge (preferred)
