Production Planning Control Manager

We're looking for aProduction Planning & Control (PPC) professionalto plan, schedule, and oversee CNC machining and assembly operations at our Chennai plant.

You'll ensure efficient utilization of machines, manpower, and materials driving on-time delivery, reducing lead times, and maintaining operational excellence.

Title and responsibilities will be aligned with experience (Executive or Manager level).

• Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production for CNC and assembly lines.
• Assign jobs based on capacity, cycle time, and tooling availability.
• Balance workloads across machining and assembly to prevent bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure readiness of CNC programs, fixtures, and setups.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and consumables.
• Track WIP, utilization, downtime, and performance; take corrective actions as needed.
• Generate and analyze MIS reports for management.
• Implement Lean, Kaizen, and 5S practices to improve efficiency and reduce lead time.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• 510 years experience inProduction Planning & Control(CNC machining and assembly focus).
• Hands-on experience with CNC operations (turning, milling, VMC, HMC, etc.).
• Strong understanding of process flow, cycle times, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Odoo experience preferred).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
• Experience in heavy engineering, automotive components, or precision machining preferred.
