Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Head to lead our manufacturing operations for steel parts, including ball bearings and cold roll form. The Production Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in manufacturing processes, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production team to achieve production targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures throughout the production process.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Oversee the production of steel parts, including ball bearings and cold roll form, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor production performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to resolve production-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 05 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in the steel industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in steel part production.
- Proven track record of successfully managing production teams and improving operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
