Production Manager

Role Description The Production Manager role at HOUZLOOK is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar. The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end execution of interior design projects, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely and quality delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating with designers, vendors, and on-site teams; managing materials, finishes, and installations; and ensuring that design specifications, safety standards, and budget requirements are met. The role involves supervising work quality, resolving operational issues, optimizing workflows, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project. The Production Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and support the development of new themes and design concepts.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project and production management skills, including planning, scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
• Candidates should possess skills in interior project execution, including understanding of finishes, materials, installations (ceilings, flooring, wallpapers), and quality control.
• Candidates should possess leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising on-site teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Candidates should possess communication and client management skills, including the ability to coordinate with designers, clients, and suppliers and document project progress clearly.
• Candidates should possess basic financial and commercial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and vendor negotiation.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in interior fit-out, construction, or production management roles will be an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Bhubaneswar, handle multiple projects, and adapt to fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
