Position: Production Manager / HOD – CNC Machining

Location: Pashamylaram, Near Patancheru, Hyderabad.

Openings: 01,

Experience: 12 –15 Years,

Qualification: B. Tech / Diploma – Mechanical.

Industry Preference:

Roller Bits, Heavy Machinery, Automobile, Aerospace, or other precision machining industries (Fabrication industry experience not preferred)

Position Overview:

Responsible for overall production operations of the machine shop (approx. 50 CNC machines, both Turning and milling – 3 & 5 axes), ensuring optimal productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complete CNC shop operations (approx. 50 machines)
• Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Process costs
• Plan and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
• Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and resources
• Improve OEE, productivity & machine utilization
• Drive continual improvements, cycle time reduction & cost optimization
• Oversee CNC programming (Mastercam), setup & optimization of tooling
• Address day to day quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions of the same.  
• Manage manpower, shopfloor discipline & 5S practices in the shop floor
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, Quality & Maintenance teams

Key Skills:

• Good leadership & problem-solving skills
• Experience in handling multiple batch production sizes
• Strong in CNC programming & setup
• Experience in selection of tooling & machining processes
• Experience in OEE improvement & batch production planning
• Experience in Lean concepts such as Kaizen, JIT, VSM is desirable
• Knowledge of QMS & root cause analysis
