Job Overview
We are hiring a Production Manager with proven experience in kidswear production. Candidates with a background in managing the manufacturing of children's apparelespecially in export or domestic brandswill be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end production planning and execution for garment manufacturing.
Oversee production units and ensure adherence to quality and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with key departments including SCM, sampling, trims sourcing, and warehousing.
Manage outsourcing and job work for embroidery, printing, and made-up garments.
Optimize machine and manpower utilization to meet production targets.
Maintain and update order MIS, T&A plans, and ensure timely shipment.
Focus on OTP (On-Time Production) delivery, especially for small and urgent orders.
Interpret and document customer requirements based on BOM (Bill of Materials).
Ensure smooth coordination across departments for efficient workflow.
Set production goals and implement corrective measures as needed.
Supervise inventory control and store management.
Monitor and maintain cost efficiency in production processes.
Handle crisis management situations with effective solutions.
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the production team.
Conduct regular team meetings and resolve operational challenges.
Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiate with vendors and ensure cost-effective sourcing and outsourcing.
Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and service.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the production department.
Maintain compliance with safety, labor, and quality standards.
