Job responsibilities

Manager will manage 50+ VMC machines, lathe machines and CNC grinding machines. A team of around 10 people working across 3 shifts needs to be managed. Primary deliverables are:

Production throughput

Machine floor efficiency

Delivery commits and fulfillment

Ensure production floor processes are followed

Arrange for production pre-requisites (tools, RM)

Rework, reject reduction

Maintain part tracking practices

In charge of material tracking in ERP

Decide machine allocation based on part requirements

Machine allocation in ERP

Machine floor processes compliance

Skills/experience

10+ years of experience

Experience working in machine shops in China, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia is a plus

Expert in CAM tools such as masterCAM, Fusion 360 is a plus

Expertise in working with metals and engineering plastics such as PEEK, ULTEM, SEMITRON

Hand-on experience working on machine floor

Computer savvy

Expert in MS office tools such as XL, PowerPoint
