Production Engineer

Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, near Delhi NCR Work from Office (6 days a week)

Start Date: Immediate

electric two-wheelers (motorcycles) must be sold and $11 trillion in fuel consumption

replaced. Zeno is building a tech platform to electrify this two-wheeler market, currently

With a focus on East Africa as a starting point, Zeno is building a new energy ecosystem

with ground-up development of a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated

battery swap network to drive a better experience for our customers.

The Role

Zeno is seeking a Production Engineer with 46 years of experience to support and

optimize the manufacturing processes for electric two-wheelers. This role focuses on

ensuring smooth production operations, quality compliance, and process improvements

while working closely with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

Execute, support & monitor daily/monthly production of Zeno EV Motorcycles

Responsible for Production Planning and Control (PPC) preparation & release and

executing production processes for electric motorcycle assembly

Responsible for ensuring monthly/weekly production target completion

Create weekly, monthly quarterly production plan against available inventory, work

with inventory manager & sourcing team to raise further inventory requirement of

subsequent month's & quarter's production plan

Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure material availability

and minimize downtime.

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assembly lines.

Evaluate production efficiency and Identify opportunities for efficiency

improvement.

Responsible for all production related fixtures design & development, work with

suppliers for development & verification of the same

Responsible for production tool requirement analysis and creation, tool selection,

procurement support, on need basis executing the procurement with sourcing team

Responsible for assessment & requirement creation for production capex

investment for sub assy tables, conveyors, SPMs, Material handling equipment and

other production support items.

Monitor production KPIs and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen

methodologies.

Monitor production KPIs and ensure adherence to quality standards (IATF 16949,

ISO 9001).

Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in the

production facility.

Support new product introduction (NPI) and ramp-up activities for pilot and mass

production.

Support process optimization for cycle time reduction and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with design and engineering teams to carry out the DFA. Will be

responsible for DFA sign-offs.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.

Carry out production line evaluation and work out line improvement proposals

Work with the process planning team during the new process flow creation and

optimization with feasibility check & related feedback.

Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure material availability and minimize

downtime.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Kaizen

principles.

Support new product introduction (NPI) and pilot builds.

What You Bring

7-10 years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing operations in

automotive or EV industry.

Knowledge of assembly processes, tooling, and production planning.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement techniques.

Understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Ability to analyze production data and drive efficiency improvements.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight timelines.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
