Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all production activities and operations effectively.
- Ensure manufacturing processes run reliably, efficiently, and smoothly.
- Achieve production targets within the defined timelines.
- Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely product delivery.
- Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address issues.
- Review daily production reports, BOM reports, dispatch reports, and snag reports.
- Ensure all products meet defined quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures and systems.
- Promptly address quality concerns and work with the team to resolve them.
- Supervise and manage the production team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely material ordering.
- Manage inventory to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Document production processes and maintain records of all activities.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles for process optimization.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving production efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Allocate resources efficiently, including manpower and machinery, to optimize output.
- Participate in product research and development activities.
- Submit accurate and timely production reports to management.
- Coordinate effectively with inter- and intra-departmental teams.
- Conduct weekly training for production teams and submit monthly training reports.
- Perform site visits and inspections to identify root causes of production issues.
- Be actively involved in production activities to address concerns raised by reporting managers.
- Monitor and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including WIP, FG, BIN, and scrap stock counts, to reporting managers in a timely manner.
- Handle escalations within inter- and intra-departmental operations.
- Be flexible to work in rotational shifts as instructed by the manager.
- Adhere to assigned KRAs & KPIs, and accept new tasks and upgrades as assigned by reporting managers.
