Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer with strong knowledge of electronics components and IoT hardware systems. The candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, testing, and optimizing electronic control panels and IoT devices used in water automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end production of IoT-based water monitoring and automation devices
- Work with electronic components such as PCB, microcontrollers, sensors (flow, pressure, level), relays, and communication modules
- Supervise control panel assembly (PLC panels, motor control panels, sensor integration panels)
- Ensure proper wiring, soldering, and PCB assembly practices
- Perform testing & validation of hardware systems before deployment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in field devices and production units
- Coordinate with R&D, software, and field teams for system integration
- Maintain production quality, documentation, and reports
- Optimize production processes for efficiency, cost, and scalability
- Support installation and commissioning when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics / Electrical / Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics production or IoT hardware manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuit fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and wiring
- Experience in handling industrial sensors and control systems
- Basic understanding of communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, GSM, IoT)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with water treatment or industrial automation systems
- Knowledge of SMT/THT processes
- Familiarity with SCADA systems or IoT dashboards
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma practices
- Experience with inventory management systems
