Job Description

Ginger Films is a Bangalore-headquartered production company under Art-O Productions OPC Pvt Ltd. We produce wedding films across India. We're a growing team building a reputation for delivering films that clients are proud to share — and we're now hiring our first dedicated Production Coordinator to scale that promise.

About the Role

Great films are made twice — once on paper, once on set. As our Production Coordinator, you'll own the paper version: the call sheets, schedules, vendor coordination, and project trackers that turn creative ambition into delivered work. You'll report directly to the founder and be the operational backbone of every project we shoot.

This is an entry-level role with a clear, performance-linked path to Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain call sheets, shoot schedules, crew rosters, and location plans for all projects
  • Coordinate with DOPs, editors, freelance crew, and vendors before, during, and after shoots
  • Manage every active project on Zoho Projects — tracking deliverables, client approvals, edit versions, and raw footage handoffs
  • Follow up with clients on feedback loops, share cuts on schedule, and flag risks early
  • Maintain organized digital archives of project files, contracts, and deliverables on Google Drive
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, basic PO tracking, and payment follow-up support
  • Be the single source of truth for what's the status on every active project

What We're Looking For

  • 0–2 years of work experience (freshers welcome — we hire for attitude, train for skill)
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Excellent written and spoken English + at least one Indian language (Hindi/Marathi/Gujarati preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and WhatsApp Business
  • Exposure to Zoho Projects or any project management tool is a plus (we'll train if not)
  • Calm under pressure, polite-but-firm on follow-ups, obsessive about closing loops
  • Willing to work a 6-day week with flexibility for weekend shoots
  • Open to 2–3 days/month of on-site travel for shoots (travel and stay covered)

Bonus if you have: Prior internship in film/event production, agency operations, or wedding planning.

What We Offer

  • Hybrid work — primarily remote, with periodic on-site days
  • Direct mentorship from the company founder
  • Documented promotion track to Production Manager.
  • Front-row exposure torunning a production house ecosystems.

How to Apply

Apply through LinkedIn OR email [Confidential Information] with:

  1. Your CV
  2. A 200-word answer to: Share a real problem you solved as a leader — what broke, what you did, what you learned

Subject line: I close loops

  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within 7 days for a 20-minute video interview, followed by one paid trial task before the final round.
