Job Summary:
The Production Associate - Level I operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance. The role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, production, and delivery requirements are met while maintaining compliance with manufacturing processes and business controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.
- Comply with all HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Promote a safety-first culture by looking out for peers and correcting hazards within control.
- Recognize environmental impacts and work towards minimizing negative effects.
- Engage in HSE training programs.
Quality:
- Follow all standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.
- Raise concerns to minimize cost and quality exposures.
- Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming material.
Production & Delivery:
- Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products.
- Ensure adherence to cycle times and engineering standards.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping, machine cleaning, and operator care tasks.
- Assist in identifying and repairing equipment needing maintenance.
- Stay flexible and perform additional duties as required to meet production goals.
Teamwork & Communication:
- Communicate effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to quality, safety, process enhancement, material flow, and employee development.
- Complete required training and development programs to support business objectives.

Experience:
- Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
- Must gain hands-on experience in HT and LV winding manufacturing processes.
Skills:
- Ability to work in rotational shifts at the CGT supplier location in Bangalore.
- Strong safety, quality, production, and delivery focus.
