Role Description
We are seeking a highly hands-on Production Assembly Engineer to join our manufacturing and assembly team. You will be instrumental in scaling our production lines, ensuring that every Air Quality and Weather monitoring device we build meets strict reliability standards before being deployed into the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing & Assembly: Carry out precise electronics PCB and device assembly, system integration, as per daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Enforce robust quality control checks (QC) during the production process. Ensure all hardware aligns with internal and industry standards.
- Technical Debugging: Perform root-cause analysis and component-level debugging for devices returned from the field, providing accurate reports to the R&D and engineering teams.
- Process Optimization: Actively contribute to increasing floor productivity by minimizing waste and optimizing the assembly workflow (familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts is a plus).
- Electronics Handling: Utilize hands-on expertise in PCB soldering, circuit debugging, and basic microcontroller programming to build and test sensor integrations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 0-2 years of hands-on experience in a hardware production, assembly, or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical domain.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, and testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes). Hands-on experience with PCB soldering and circuit debugging is highly preferred.
- Drive: A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with a strong focus on safety, quality, and scaling
In this role, you will contribute to enhancing environmental awareness and ensuring a sustainable future by managing critical projects that impact the community and our environment.
