We are seeking a Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop systems and applications to end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Assist with the setup and deployment of desktop environments.
- Ensure systems are secure and up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
- Document support processes and update knowledge base for future reference.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or related field.
- Proficient in Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of desktop hardware components and peripherals.
- Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
