The Production and Supply Chain Coordinator will play a critical role in managing production workflows and coordinating supply chain activities to ensure efficient operations. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and process purchase orders and send them to factories.
- Fill out and manage packaging requests for products.
- Coordinate the input of purchase orders and proforma invoices into the ERP system.
- Ensure strike-offs and pre-production samples are sent and reviewed promptly, providing comments as needed.
- Oversee that all orders are booked and have undergone final inspections before shipment.
- Review UPCs and carton markings to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Maintain detailed project records in Asana, ensuring all tasks and updates are accurately logged.
- Track and manage samples, materials, and production assets throughout the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with designers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Monitor production schedules and flag any potential delays, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address any production issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Design, Supply Chain Management) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in production coordination, product development, or a similar role (experience in home décor or consumer goods preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in creating and managing purchase orders, packaging requests, and invoices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for managing orders and proforma invoices.
- Experience with project management tools like Asana and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of production processes, including sample management, inspections, and logistics.
- Strong ability to review technical details such as UPCs and carton markings for accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
