We are looking for a Product / Technical Business Analyst who can bridge business needs with engineering execution. This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, requiring strong expertise in requirements definition, Agile execution, JIRA backlog management, QA support, and technical documentation (including APIs).
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, offshore-ready requirements and smooth sprint execution with minimal rework.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and product requirements
- Write clear, offshore-ready user stories and acceptance criteria with minimal rework
- Support Agile ceremonies, sprint readiness, and backlog grooming
- Manage JIRA backlog, ensuring accurate status, priority, and traceability
- Collaborate with Engineering and QA during development, UAT, and releases
- Create and review test cases and support bug triage and re-testing
- Document APIs, workflows, and technical specifications
- Maintain high-quality functional and technical documentation
- Update training materials and knowledge documents after product changes
Bonus: Experience working in a FinTech domain (payments, lending, banking, or financial platforms) is a plus.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (Product / Technical)
- Strong experience in Agile / Scrum environments
- Hands-on expertise with JIRA (stories, bugs, workflows, backlog management)
- Proven ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience supporting UAT, QA, and releases
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, API documentation (Swagger/Postman preferred)
