Job Description

The Product Specialist will be responsible for updating specification and validate system configurator applications, interfaces, BOM, routings and drawings for Low and Medium Voltage Motor Control Center (LVMCC)

As a part of this team

  • You will be a LVMCC subject matter expertsdomain expert in the Digital Tools team
  • You will work with the marketing and engineering team to collect, understand, and review the requirements related to any change or new feature implementation.
  • You will review issues reported by the users and take action to resolve them.
  • You will work collaborate with development team to resolve the bugs and implement and enhancements.
  • You will update the specification document (configurator workbooks) to be used by development team.
  • You will work with the development team to provide clarification, whenever required.
  • You will coordinate with various teams on implementation of the requirements.
  • You will coordinate with onsite and onsite teams for implementation, testing and delivering the solution on time.
  • You will establish a close communication with the system configurator team and other stake holders.
  • You will develop a good understanding on End to End process and use it while developing specification document.
  • You will work closely with others for debugging and resolution of any system configurator related issues.
  • You will help drive continuous improvement in the process.

Required Skills And Experience

  • 4-year degree (Electrical Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Decent software exposure - basic programming skills.
  • 5-8 years of ETO/CTO Execution or Application Engineering
    • Component Selections, Single Line Diagram, Assembly Drawings, Bill of Material, Structural Layouts, Electrical Schematics
    • Product selection
    • Proposal Generation
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Good communication skills

  • Experience in working with global team
  • Experience of working with SAP
  • Product or System Configurator experience
  • Experience in working with AutoCAD, CREO or eplan
