UK Fabric operating under OneBusiness is a key initiative to provide attractive and competitive products with an excellent customer experience through the development of new IT support systems and innovative features and pricing through Agile development methods. As a Product Owner within OneBusiness and alignment into UK Fabric, you will be responsible for leading the migration workstream and driving the product definition scope foir migration and evolution from existing products to the UK Fabric NaaS based portfolio. You will drive the prioritisation of the developments including tooling and processes, developing plans and roadmaps, using your skills in the domain, product management, project managment and stakeholder management to underpin the business strategy and benefits case.

What I'll be doing – your accountabilities

• Leading the UK Fabric migrations workstream ensuring E2E accountability and alignment across engineering teams in Networks and Digital and beyond for migration tooling and processes.

• Collaborates with analytics and engineering teams, and interfaces with cross functional stakeholders e.g. executives, sales, product, marketing, legal, and customer success teams to fulfill the product backlog using Scrum/ Agile methodologies, defining product features and roadmaps.

• Take product capabilities and processes through discovery, alpha, beta and live phases of development with the goal of migrating multiple BT Business products and services in a seamless and friuctioinless experience that minimises customer disruption and maximises BT Business retention.

• Identifies new product processes and capabilities to enhance the migration evolution strategy from existing products to UK Fabric and NaaS based services..

• Ensure the product feature backlog and priorities are appropriately documented and communicated across the overall programme

• Creates and develops high quality work for product roadmapping, mockups, wireframes, POCs(points of contacts), specification writing and product schedules.

• Contribute passion and enthusiasm for the product/capability and customers. This means being a champion for the customers needs so that the teams are able and inspired to help.

• Make sure the team is constantly doing the right thing, and has a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt, optimising unit costs, and providing maintenance and support

• Be an active part of the wider product community working with other Product Owners to ensure features and functionality are aligned. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in product management.

• Works with the wider team to elaborate Epics and Features, coordinating with the Solution Design team and other Product Owners

• Works with the agile team and their end-to-end processes to create and agree Features to deliver Epics and prioritises these to achieve business objectives for specific Personas and Customer Journeys.

• Provide good Backlog health by ensuring it is detailed appropriately, estimated where required and constantly refined and prioritised to provide early value to customers and BT.

• Contributes towards the continual assessment of the needs of customers, tech teams and stakeholders in defining and evolving the product strategy.

• Identifies new products or enhancements to existing products by understanding and analysing user needs, BT Group's current product suite and business requirements of internal functions like sales and delivery.

Experience you would be expected to have

• Product Domain knowledge (TBC)

• Experience and understanding in product Lead to Cash (L2C) and Concept to Market (C2M) processes and their agile counterparts.

• Experience as a hands on Product Owner

• Experience with and knowledge of agile methodologies

• Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira/ Confluence
