What is the opportunity
As a
Product Owner - Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and ongoing support and improvement of Omnissa's Workday HCM platform, with a focus on absence, time tracking, and benefits processes. You will partner closely with HR, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions that enhance Omnissa's employee experience and operational efficiency.
Here Is a Breakdown
- Serve as the primary liaison between HR and business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams for Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules as well as Workday and HR technology touchpoints with Benefits processes
- Configure Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules and design functional and technical solutions in alignment with business requirements
- Lead requirements gathering and user story creation in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors
- Assess scope, effort, and impact for new requests and enhancements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop test scripts and coordinate testing efforts for project and enhancement releases
- Provide IT support and technical resolution for production tickets, including performing root cause analyses, updating configuration, assessing process or data issues, and providing end user post-production assistance
- Support mass data maintenance requests related to absence, time tracking, and benefits processes
- Provide IT support with absence, time tracking, and benefits related integrations and boundary systems
- Review Workday release notes, assess impacts, and prepare testing and implementation plans for semi-annual updates
- Stay current with Workday functionality and recommend system enhancements to optimize, automate, and scale the Workday platform
- Maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including Workday configuration guides and IT process documents
What will you bring to Omnissa
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Consultant supporting Workday HCM
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules, including absence plans, accrual calculations, time entry codes and calculations, eligibility rules, calculated fields, custom reports, and EIBs
- Knowledge of Workday Absence and Time Tracking integration points with Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and other Workday modules and HR processes
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, user story creation, and test case development
- Experience with absence, time tracking, and benefits business processes and best practices
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address application issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to zoom in / zoom out and tailor messages for engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership audiences
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- Workday Pro certified in Absence and/or Time Tracking
- Experience implementing Absence and Time Tracking across multiple countries/regions in a multinational organization
- Experience supporting integrated benefits processes with external benefits providers and third-party portals
Location: Bengaluru
Location Type: HYBRID. This role offers a balanced arrangement, with the expectation of working 3 days a week in our local office and the flexibility to work from home for the remaining days. It is essential that you reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office location for the in-office workdays.
Travel Expectations: 5% of travel Domestic/International only if business demands.
