Senior Business Service Designer Role Purpose:

Duties and responsibilities:
Lead delivery teams as their Design Owner / Manager
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirementsand share best practice
Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared work
Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories
Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
Follow our competitors and the industry
Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Requirements and qualifications:
Previous working experience as a Product Owner / Manager for 5+ years
MA in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
In-depthknowledge of Agile process and principles
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Creative thinker with a vision
Attention to details.
Risk & Controls
The UX designer must ensure that the design team's goals are aligned with the overall business objectives of the organization.
Ensure that issues and actions associated to controls / risks are remediated in a timely manner.
Report and escalate the status of the relevant risks, controls and standards as appropriate.
Resource Complexity
Cross-functional, cross-platform teams have shared ownership of delivering desired outcomes.
Likely to work in a distributed environment involving contractors, LBG permanents, and partners.
Problem Solving
Drive and facilitate problem solving across the team removing impediments to delivery (in line with policy, process and other guidelines) to get things done.
Work with the team and support team members to find solutions to their issues and continuous improvement.
Depending on the nature of the specific role, problems can range from repetitive daily issues to complex technical problems requiring significant expertise.
Change
Pro-actively look for issues which may hinder the team in the future and seek timely resolution.
Take personal initiative in adapting to change.
Internal Collaboration
High level of collaboration within agile team, participating and contributing towards all ceremonies and spikes.
Collaborate as part of Chapters and a wider Community of Practice, seeking to identify common issues and opportunities to improve over time.
External interaction
Build good working relationships with third party suppliers and partners to LBG within the team or those who
impact your team's delivery.
Timeframe
Agile delivery is iterative and incremental, so development cycles and feedback loops are typically short (2 4 weeks), favouring shorter over longer.
