Job Description

In this role, you'll own the product end-to-end from vision to release while also playing a key role in presales discovery, solution design, estimation, and proposal support. You'll act as the single point of accountability, bridging customers, sales, and engineering to deliver scalable, value-driven products. If you enjoy wearing multiple hats, influencing decisions early, and turning complex business problems into well-designed product solutions, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Create, refine, and prioritise Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the voice of the customer throughout design and development.
  • Drive Sprint Planning, Reviews, Refinements, and Retrospectives (Scrum Master responsibilities when needed).
  • Own story acceptance, sprint outcomes, and release readiness.
  • Plan and manage releases, milestones, UAT, demos, and go-lives.
  • Serve as the primary bridge between business, customers, and engineering.
  • Manage scope, risks, dependencies, and expectations proactively.
  • Track progress and provide clear status reporting.
  • Conduct demos, walkthroughs, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Support discussions around scope, timelines, and prioritisation.
  • Participate in discovery calls and workshops with prospects and sales teams.
  • Translate high-level ideas into structured requirements and solution approaches.
  • Break down requirements into modules, features, and functional flows.
  • Collaborate with engineering to validate effort and estimations.
  • Prepare release plans, sprint plans, and high-level project plans.
  • Support proposal creation, including scope, delivery model, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Ensure presales outputs seamlessly convert into delivery backlogs.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum frameworks.
  • Strong documentation skills (PRDs, BRDs, user stories, functional specs).
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Confident presenter with a structured and clear approach.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Presales.
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Exposure to B2B and SaaS products.
  • CSPO / Agile certification (preferred, not mandatory).
