Product Owner - Oil & Gas

- Strong understanding of oil & gas operations (exploration, drilling, production, refining, distribution).
- Familiarity with asset integrity management, predictive maintenance, and condition-based monitoring.
- Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and industrial IoT.
- Understanding of data analytics, AI/ML, and digital twins in industrial contexts.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Strong grasp of cybersecurity in OT (Operational Technology) environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Strong decision-making and prioritization skills under operational constraints.
- Experience in change management and driving digital adoption in traditional industries.

Responsibilities -
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define product goals aligned with business priorities (e.g., reducing downtime, optimizing production, improving safety).
- Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with plant managers, engineers, and executives to capture requirements.
- Agile Leadership: Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; ensure delivery of incremental value.
- Domain Expertise: Translate oil & gas operational challenges (e.g., equipment reliability, pipeline monitoring, HSE) into digital solutions.
- Data & Analytics Integration: Collaborate with data teams to leverage sensor data, predictive analytics, and AI models.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure solutions meet HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards and regulatory requirements.
