Job Description

Job Summary/Objective:

Technical Product Owner with data and agile experience to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring products align with strategic goals and deliver maximum value. Responsible for managing the product data backlog, prioritizing work. and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)

  • Defining and Prioritizing the Product Data Backlog - Works with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize the product backlog ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborating with Development Teams - Works closely with the data solution and engineering delivery teams to ensure technical feasibility and translate requirements into actionable tasks. Support release planning and management.
  • Ensuring Cross-functional Alignment - Act as a central point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between different teams.
  • Leading Agile Activities - Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimating, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure efficient and effective development.

Education

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

  • Agile Methodologies- Deep understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, and other Agile frameworks.
  • Technical Expertise - Strong understanding of software development processes, technologies, and best practices. Experience with Azure DevOps and Jira.
  • Communication and Collaboration - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills - Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and propose solutions

The ideal candidate is always looking for ways to improve a product or service to make it better, faster, and more user-friendly. You are responsible for producing technology solutions from concept to delivery that satisfy customer needs in alignment with our overall strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a product expert, product evangelist, and the voice of the customer
  • Work cross-functionally to gather Responsibilities, customer feedback, and communicate priorities
  • Create mockups and prototypes to assist with development
  • Analyze metrics to understand customer and product performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology
  • 4+ years of experience in project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Scrum or Agile experience
