About The Role

Product Owner Industrial is the tactical engine for the Industrial sector. This role focuses on translating complex industrial workflows — shipping logistics, distributor CRM, and field service management — into actionable development tasks that empower industrial distributors and field technicians.

You will own execution across areas such as CRM/sales analytics, B2B e-commerce, field service management, logistics/fleet/dispatch), HVAC workflows, pricing optimization, and industrial CRM.

SECTOR SCOPE

Industrial: Managing field service management platforms, pricing optimization tools, shipping and distribution logistics, and industrial-specific e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Industrial Workflow Translation: Digitize manual processes in shipping, distribution, and field technician coordination into clear, implementable user stories with robust acceptance criteria.

Feature Prioritization: Work with company leads to prioritize field-first features that solve immediate pain points for technicians, warehouse managers, and distributors.

Reliability Engineering: Ensure technical updates maintain the high uptime and reliability standards required in industrial environments; define non-functional requirements for performance and scalability.

Sprint Operations: Lead all agile ceremonies across Industrial product teams — planning, grooming, review, and retrospectives; manage inter-team dependencies and release timelines.

Customer Proximity: Engage with field technicians, dispatchers, and pricing analysts to keep backlog priorities grounded in real operational needs.

AI & Automation: Identify and scope AI-driven opportunities — predictive dispatch, smart pricing, automated field reporting — aligned with sector strategy.

CORE TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Industrial Workflow Mapping: Expertise in documenting and digitizing complex manual distribution and shipping processes into software requirements.

Field Service Coordination: Technical understanding of mobile field service application requirements, including offline capabilities.

Distributor CRM Architecture: Experience with data structures and CRM workflows specific to industrial distribution hubs.

Cross-functional Coordination: Bridging the gap between field technicians, back-office distribution hubs, and engineering teams.

Agile Backlog Grooming: High proficiency in maintaining a prioritized, high-velocity backlog in a diverse and complex technical environment.

What You Bring

6–8 years of experience as a Product Owner in enterprise or industrial B2B SaaS

Strong domain familiarity with at least one of: distribution, field service management, logistics, B2B e-commerce, or industrial CRM

Proven ability to manage large, complex backlogs across multiple products or modules simultaneously

Agile/Scrum certification preferred; proficiency in Jira or Azure DevOps

Experience with ERP/CRM integrations and API-driven enterprise architectures
