We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner with strong expertise in Capital Markets and SQL to drive product development and deliver innovative solutions for our financial services clients. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that product features align with market needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and prioritise product backlog items based on business value and stakeholder input.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Gather and analyze requirements related to Capital Markets (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
- Use SQL for data analysis, validation, and reporting to support decision-making.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Capital Market processes and workflows.
- Communicate product vision and road-map to stakeholders and development teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Capital Markets (Wealth Management and Investment banking).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
